Our Year so Far
January 2025 began with a joint effort with Operation Renewed Hope in Cape Verde.
A group of 45-50 doctors and nurses turned our Pedra Bedejo school building into a clinic that saw approximately 1,500 patients for general health, eye, and dental care.
Most were from the island of Santiago but a few were from other islands. This produced 14 professions of faith with 5 baptized and incorporated into the church in Praia.
At this time they are willing to return to Cape Verde for another health project. Possible dates next year are January or May on a different island.
February 2025
With your assistance VP Joe Davis was able to meet up with Brother Jun in Manila.
Total trip was 15 days and 48 were reported saved.
Bro. Jun was a tremendous asset, friend, and travel companion.
January-May 2025
Our seminary classes were in session. 5 visiting teachers.
May 2025
Phillip was in Romania with Zachary White meeting Eric and Liliana Schrock. Progress was made on their upcoming move arrangements as well as scouting potential ministry opportunities.
June 2025 Phillip was back in Cape Verde for three weeks.
September 18-October 2
We are preparing for another school project on the island of Sao Nicolau. To date 7 of the 9 islands have had bible distributions in all of their public schools. Logistically this island is a more remote and will be more difficult please pray for the volunteers serving in this project.
We will also be helping the evangelism efforts of Pastor Edson Silva who was sent from the congregation in Praia to reach the people in Mindelo.
