Dear Praying Friends,

"Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8).

In 2024, Pastor Lili (from Kucove) and Mike discussed the summer option of scheduling a church camp. A trip to Pogradec was planned to secure dates at the Nehemiah Center. The anticipation was high, and the facilities seemed to be more than suitable for Pastor Lili. The dates of July 15-19, 2025, were secured. All that existed to pay for the camp was a couple of verses from the book of Matthew and faith.

Then Pastor Ari's church in Tirana was contemplating their options. The only door open for them was the August 5-9, 2025, at Nehemiah Center in Pogradec. However, they had a couple of verses from the book of Matthew, a little faith and two-thousand dollars.

Eventually, Pastor Lili's camp also had two-thousand dollars. In order to pay off both camps a total of eight thousand dollars was needed.

Jennifer needed some procedural advice from Baptist World Mission that warranted a phone call. Before Jennifer finished her call, the BWM business manager informed her that someone had called looking for a project to sponsor and the donor paid the remaining balance. We thank the Lord for this individual that has richly blessed us.

Your prayers and consideration for our camps are greatly appreciated. Collectively our prayers have been answered for camp funding.

In Pogradec, Pastor Rick Weesner, Calvary Baptist Church, Geneva, Illinois, is the special speaker for the Kucove camp week. Please pray for all to grow and some to be saved.

In Pogradec, Pastor Ari's camp is scheduled for August 5-9, 2025. Please pray for decisions for Christ.

Philippians 1:27 "...with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel:"

As I have said often, it is an honor for us to represent so many churches in getting the gospel to the needy field of Albania.

Having restarted the work in the poorer part of the city called Cole (Cholay), we are amazed at the progress being made in reaching the people, especially children and teenagers. But please pray for them! They love coming and participate, but most of the time, they are not understanding the teachings of the bible and their need for salvation. Many times, we give a lesson, then ask questions about the lesson, and they have difficulty answering the simplest of question[s]. Please pray with us that the Lord would open their spiritual eyes.

Having said that, we do have the opportunity to take a group of the teenagers to camp in August. As many of you that have been to camp before know, this could have a great impact on their lives and on the future of the work here.

We are still struggling to reach men in this area. Many of the [f]athers of our young people are drunks, don't work, or just don't care.

Another prayer request: I, Kirk, have had problems with my blood pressure. Bonnie is an RN and has been taking it regularly. For a time, it was registering around 180 to 200 over around 100. If you don't know, that is not good. I knew it was high (not that high) but I eat right, exercise, and try to be healthy that I might serve the Lord better. I went to a heart doctor here and they said I had a kind of thickening around my heart and put me on three different meds. I normally never take meds and doctor myself naturally, but these meds have helped a lot! I am dizzy and lethargic from them, but the numbers are much better.

I said the previous to say this[: Aging] is a fact of life and many times these kind[s] of illnesses come with age. Please be in prayer for another couple to come to work with us and eventually take over the work. If anyone reading this feels called to missions, consider a trip over to see how the Lord is directing!
