Dear Pastors, Churches, Families, and Friends,
The months of May and June have been packed full of blessings! Teen Camps, visas accepted, salvations, baptisms, Refugee Border Camp, orphanage, birthdays, and more have us filled to overflowing. Thank you, church families and friends, for your faithful prayers and support that allow us to be here on the front lines of Thailand. Many of you send words of encouragement just when we need them, and it means so very much to us!
Teen Camp:
May began with a Teen Camp/Conference in Samut Sakhon. Thirteen teenagers from both churches attended. Many decisions were made to surrender to the call of Christ on their lives. We praise the Lord that, when the invitation was given to answer God's call, our son Forest was the first one to go forward. Now all three of our children have answered the call of God! Forest also made the decision to be baptized, having received assurance of salvation a little over a year ago. John said it best, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."
Visas:
We are happy to tell you that we have finally received our one-year visas! It was quite the ordeal this time around, but the Lord answered prayers! Thank you for praying!
Refugee Border Camp:
In June, God opened a door that had always been closed and allowed us to enter a Refugee Border Camp to distribute rice and, mor importantly, the Gospel to the over 5,000 residents. God miraculously blew away rain clouds, and thousands came and heard the Gospel preached in two languages. Star was then allowed to preach the Gospel again in Karen and Burmese on the public broadcast, while Pong was allowed into the prison. So many responded to the Gospel; only God could tell the number. We are just thankful to have been used to carry the message and thankful for each of you who prayed and/or gave to make this amazing day possible.
Orphanage:
We were able to visit the orphanage and deliver food, clothing, and other supplies. They were thankful for everything, but when we handed them their own Bibles, they cheered and clapped their hands. Truly, the Word of God is precious and more valuable than any earthly goods.
Soul Winning:
During our times out soul winning, our family has had the blessing of seeing 27 souls accept Jesus as their Saviour. One of these was the father of a Bpow, who has been coming faithfully since March. Bpow's dad said his son comes home each Sunday and shares with him the stories and the verses he has learned. Somchai's heart was ready to hear for himself of the One Who brings salvation and changes lives.
Jesus is the Light:
God is truly doing a great work here in Thailand! There is much spiritual darkness that attacks at every turn, but we carry the Light of the world into the darkness. Thank you for lifting us up in prayer as we serve. We love you all and thank God for all you do to hold the ropes. Thank you for being faithful.
Grateful to serve,
Bro. Chad Inman & Family
